In the new compact car segment, the new Audi A3 continues to lead the pack with its advanced technology and great looks. With Quattro all wheel drive (AWD), the new A3 is now priced at just under $30,000, including an optional Sport Handling Pack. The all-wheel drive system of the Avanti A3 is based on the innovative Doppler engine sensing system which allows the vehicle to adjust to the terrain. The Audi Avanti also features powerful engines, lightweight weight, compact dimensions and sleek body styling. With the standard Avanti models, consumers have the choice of three fuel types – gasoline, diesel, or standard unleaded gas. A third option called EGR Delete lets the driver remove the gasoline engine supplement allowing for a stronger, less polluting gasoline alternative.
All models of the Audi Avanti sedan also include standard automatic transmissions. They can be tuned to various different performance levels and include variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control (VTEC). Standard on the all-wheel drive versions of the Avanti, the CTI or Cruise control allows the driver to manually control the opening and closing of the windows.
The standard Avanti also offers a base version with a base model of 150 ps that gets increased by $100 as it enters the mid-level model. The biggest difference between the Avanti sedan and the Avanti coupe is found in the level of power the sedan receives. The Avanti coupe gains power through the use of shorter stroke fuel cells and an electric motor. The all-wheel drive system and the CC (combined cycle) gas turbine help to power the powerful CC engines that propel the Avanti sedan and the Avanti coupe.
Like many smaller luxury sedans and hatchbacks, the Avanti also has a three-door model year after year. However, the third door will receive an enhanced performance package, which is called the TFSI (Thermal efficiency Technology Suspension). This system helps to improve fuel economy and reduce noise while the Avanti is on the motion. The all-wheel drive version of the Avanti sedan also has the option of choosing from a manual or an automatic transmission.
One of the most popular features of the new Avanti is the TFT (Thin Film Transistor) Touch Screen that incorporates a multi-touch interface. In addition to allowing you to make use of your finger to operate the controls, this multi-touch interface also acts as an audio input device. In other words, using your finger to operate the touch screen will activate a variety of entertaining video features. For example, the video volume can be adjusted using the same multi-touch interface that allows you to adjust the volume of the speakers. If you’d like to view content that is not in your current zone, simply pull out your phone or connect your portable media player. In the past, the a3 sportback only had standard LCD screens that could not be customized.
Currently, the a3 sportback has an upgraded version with the versions that are available currently have standard LCD screens. Unfortunately, many of these upgraded models do not include the high-gloss high-resolution screens of the original Avanti sedans. However, most upgraded models come with higher-end speakers and more storage space than the older models. The original Avanti was designed with a one-door, 4-passenger capacity; however, most of the current sportbacks are two-door. Therefore, it is possible for someone to drive an a sedan into their home.
As far as sound quality, there is some confusion. Some people compare the sound to that of a smaller, less expensive Mercedes-Benz. However, the fact is that the Avanti is not as refined as the tronic and on, but the sound is surprisingly good. It is not as refined as a Cadillac, but it definitely has a more rich sound. If you are planning to buy an a3 sportback, you might want to consider upgrading to a cc or tronic.
One of the biggest differences between the Avanti a3 and the cc is the price. The a3 starts at $1350 while the tronic and cc start at seven hundred dollars. The a3’s top end styling and superior performance more than make up for the price difference. If you are looking for a sporty luxury car that can hold its own against luxury cars such as the Mercedes-Benz and Cadillac, consider purchasing an Audi a3. They are reasonably priced, easy to repair, and have top notch performance.
